Overview

At Grace Christian College Wodonga, our curriculum is shaped by a deep commitment to Christ-centred education, where faith and learning come together to nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that every student is uniquely created in God’s image and called to grow in wisdom, character, and service.

Our teaching and learning approaches address the Australian Curriculum from a Biblical perspective and balance mastery of content with the exploration of ideas. Students build strong foundational knowledge and skills through explicit instruction and mastery learning, while also engaging in rich, practical and varied learning experiences. We seek to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, as well as nurture trust in and love for our Creator. This balance ensures that learners develop, both confidence in what they know, and the capacity to apply their understanding in meaningful ways.

We make purposeful use of digital technology to enhance - not replace - authentic learning. Digital tools are integrated thoughtfully to support collaboration, problem-solving, and communication, preparing students to navigate and contribute positively to an ever-changing digital world.

At the heart of our practice is a commitment to meeting individual needs. Small class sizes ensure teachers know their students and their learning needs, and design learning experiences that respond to the needs and interests of their classes. Every learner is encouraged to reach their God-given potential.

At Grace Christian College Wodonga, we seek to grow lifelong learners who love God, serve others, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
