Kelly Dickins – Careers Adviser

 

My role is to guide and support students and families in exploring and planning their post-school options, providing information on careers, further education, and training. They help students identify their interests and strengths, develop career plans, prepare resumes, and apply for opportunities, ultimately supporting them in making informed decisions about their future pathways. 

 

Explore skills and strengths, get a better understanding of industries and job roles, assistance with subject selections and university prerequisites University and TAFE pathways, University early entry applications, resume writing and interview skills. Traineeships and apprenticeships and encourage students to attend local events that will assist students to better understand and explore career options.

  • What skills and strengths does an apprentice need?
  • How do I earn while I learn?
  • What types of careers are available in health?
  • How do I become an interior designer?
  • What is an arborist?

  • What is the difference between civil, mechanical and environmental engineers?
